The walk takes in Fourvière, the Ancient Theatre, the gardens and Old Lyon. We stop for a convivial lunch in a restaurant, then head to Croix-Rousse to discover the Canuts district.
The route continues past the Hôtel de Ville, the Opera House and the Grand Hôtel-Dieu, before reaching Place Bellecour. A Vaporetto boat ride on the Saône takes us to Confluence.
This walk is listed as available from April to November. Metro, funicular and Vaporetto tickets are included. Comfortable shoes and plenty of energy are recommended.
